Mary Ann Glendon Speaks to Young Catholic Professionals

Recently Mary Ann Glendon spoke for the Catholic Information Center's Young Professional Program. One of the most influential lay Catholic women of our time, Glendon discussed her new book, The Forum and the Tower: How Scholars and Politicians Have Imagined the World, from Plato to Eleanor Roosevelt. The Learned Hand Professor of Law at Harvard University, she is author of several influential books.

Glendon is the first female president of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences. Former Ambassador to the Holy See, Glendon was the Vatican representative to the 1995 UN Conference on Women. She also happens to be the emblem of pure elegance.
